Logo for the recently new build Brewery from Heineken Ethiopia HBSC just outside Addis Ababa
Heineken Ethiopia known as HBSC, ( Heineken Breweries Share Company )
Asked us to make a logo for there newly build Brewery just outside Addis Ababa.
A logo that should be an umbrella for several Ethiopian beer brands that are produced in Ethiopia.
The logo focusses on a strong African/Ethiopian feel. We picked a font that was bold, strong and had pointy corners. So it gives a african feel to it. The pointy stripes on the letters were added to give a wildlife pattern feel.
The blue crates with the distinguished / Pride HBSC logo on it has soon taken its place in the streets of Ethiopia. With beer brands like : Walia, HBSC has a fast growing market share in the Ethiopian Beer landscape!
